Members

The Coalition currently has 230 institutional members with 483 representatives from 66 countries. Membership is held primarily by institutions. There are also 338 individual members from 75 countries whose organizations have not yet joined or who are unaffiliated with an institution.

Our members are working on many projects, including Africa’s largest multi-county clinical trial to treat mild to moderate COVID-19; assessments of the impact of COVID-19 on antimicrobial resistance; countering vaccine misinformation; and monitoring COVID-19 medical products & vaccines quality.

Members commit to:

  1. accelerate COVID-19 research in areas where the virus could wreak havoc on already-fragile health systems and cause the greatest health impact on vulnerable populations
  2. leverage each other’s expertise to fast-track research that will provide evidence needed to guide policies and practices on COVID-19 prevention, diagnosis, and case management in resource-limited settings.
  3. Promote and implement open sharing of research knowledge and data
  4. Champion equitable and affordable access to the proposed interventions.
